Our pacae brings you farm-fresh ice cream beans, hand-harvested straight from the tree at peak sweetness. Highly cherished across Peru and the Amazon basin, pacae pods feature a tough, ribbed green exterior protecting pillows of snowy-white, cotton-textured pulp surrounding large dark seeds. With a naturally sweet, delicate vanilla aroma and creamy flavor reminiscent of real vanilla ice cream, it is one of the most delightful and fun tropical fruits to eat fresh.

How to Enjoy
Using your hands or a small knife, gently crack or twist the rigid outer green shell open along the natural seam. Inside, you will find segments of pillowy white pulp enclosing large seeds. Pull out each white section and enjoy the sweet, cotton-candy-like flesh, discarding the large inner seed. Best served chilled or fresh at room temperature as a healthy natural dessert.
