Enjoy the rewarding experience of growing your own pumpkins from seed with our premium Pumpkin seeds (Cucurbita pepo). Selected for high germination rates and vigorous vine growth, these seeds produce hardy, sprawling plants with large, lush green leaves and bright yellow-orange blossoms followed by generous harvests of well-shaped pumpkins.

The fruits develop a smooth, durable rind and sweet, nutrient-rich orange flesh that is versatile in the kitchen—perfect for homemade pies, creamy soups, purees, roasted dishes, and seasonal displays. In addition, the seeds harvested from your mature pumpkins can be toasted for a delicious, healthy snack.

How to Sow & Grow

1. Sowing: Sow seeds directly into warm soil (70°F–85°F) at a depth of 1 inch, or start indoors in biodegradable pots 3–4 weeks before planting out. Plant 2 to 3 seeds per mound, spacing mounds 4 to 6 feet apart.
2. Soil: Thrives in rich, loose, well-draining soil amended with plenty of organic compost or aged manure (pH 6.0–6.8).
3. Sunlight: Requires full sun (6 to 8+ hours of direct sunlight daily) for strong vine growth and fruit development.
4. Watering: Keep soil consistently moist during germination, flowering, and fruit set. Water deeply at the base of the plant to keep foliage dry.
